Amber Barcellos, RDN
Founder & Lead Nutritionist
A Journey from Student to Entrepreneur
After earning my BS in Nutrition from Arizona State University in 2015, I spent five years working as a clinical nutritionist in Phoenix hospitals. While I loved helping patients, I saw the same problem over and over: people knew what they should eat, but had no time or energy to make it happen.
In 2020, I started Nutrition Intuition with a simple mission: bring nutritionist-designed, chef-prepared meals directly into people's homes. What began as a one-woman operation has grown into a team of 7 talented chefs serving over 150 families across the Phoenix and Scottsdale area.
Today, we've prepared over 50,000 meals, helped clients lose a combined 2,000+ pounds, and supported countless people in managing chronic conditions through whole-food nutrition. But what I'm most proud of is the relationships we've built—our clients become like family.

Amber Barcellos
Amber Barcellos, founder of Nutrition Intuition, is a whole-food nutritionist, matcha enthusiast, and fearless leader. Born and raised in the Valley of the Sun, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Arizona State University. Combining her love for wellness and cooking, Amber began her professional culinary career in 2014 and now focuses on developing health-conscious chefs and expanding Nutrition Intuition across the Valley. When she's not in the kitchen, you'll find her at the latest fitness studio or traveling with her husband and daughter.
